Company Description
Penske Automotive Group has lots of lots. The #2 publicly traded auto dealer in the US (behind AutoNation), PAG operates about 325 dealerships in more than 15 states, including California and New York, and in Puerto Rico, Germany, and the UK. The company sells cars made by more than a dozen automakers. Non-US brands, including AUDI, BMW, and Honda, account for about 95% of sales. The group also sells used vehicles and provides repair services and financing. PAG'S UK subsidiary, Sytner Group, operates about 140 franchises selling more than 20 brands, mostly high-end makes. Additionally, PAG's smartUSA subsidiary distributes smart fortwo vehicles in the US and Puerto Rico. Chairman Roger Penske runs the company.
