The company, a subsidiary of lumber giant Weyerhaeuser, is one of the largest homebuilders and residential developers in the Southern California and Las Vegas markets. Founded in 1921 (it began building homes in Nevada in 1952), the company has regional offices in San Diego, Corona, and Valencia, California, as well as in Las Vegas. Pardee targets first-time to luxury-home buyers with prices ranging from the mid $100,000s to more than $1 million. In addition to its home-building efforts, Pardee also builds apartment homes and commercial properties and offers home loans through an affiliate.
