The Japan-based commercial property manager oversees the operations of Tokyo Disney Resort and Tokyo DisneySea Park as well as a complement of hotel, retail, and dining establishments. The company owned some 55 Disney Store outlets in the country but sold them back to Disney Japan in 2010 in order to focus on its theme park operations. Oriental Land was founded in 1960; it began its fruitful collaboration with Disney in 1979 with the construction of Tokyo Disneyland.
