Company Description
Oriel Resources isn't into gold any longer, but it still likes shiny metals. The company -- formed in 2003 to explore for gold, silver, and nickel in Russia and Eastern Europe -- now operates the Voskhod chrome deposit, scheduled to begin production in mid-2008, in Kazakhstan. Chromite ore is used in the production of stainless steel (to make it harder and more corrosion resistant).
