This Opus really changed its tune. Opus Corporation provided design, engineering, and construction services for commercial property developments throughout the US and in Canada. Through subsidiaries including Opus West, Opus South, and Opus North, the group had expertise in office, retail, industrial, multifamily, institutional, and education projects. Another division, Opus Property Services, managed some 30 million sq. ft. of real estate on its own behalf and for third-party owners. Beleagured by the downturn in the property development, construction, and investment industries, Opus shut down some units and sold others in 2009 and 2010.
