Company Description
Nuheat Industries is out to warm the cockles of your heart -- or at least your little piggies. The company makes electric floor heating systems designed to provide even distribution of heat across ceramic tile, laminate, and stone surfaces. Nuheat makes 1/8 inch-thick mats that fit between tile and subfloors in more than 60 standard sizes; it also provides custom sizing for complex rooms. The Nuheat system, first introduced in 1991, uses wires enclosed in plastic insulation and stainless steel braids; the system requires, at most, 12 watts per sq. ft. to produce top temperatures of 80-90°F.
