Norwall stays focused on walls, including wallflowers. Norwall is a top North American manufacturer of residential paper-backed, vinyl wallcoverings and borders. Products include 35 wallcovering lines, such as paintable, peelable, scrubable, strippable, and washable wallcoverings; all are prepasted. Its goods are sold to thousands of wholesale and retail home improvement and decorator distributors throughout North America and abroad. In the US, its products are traded through its wholly owned subsidiary, Patton Wallcoverings. Norwall produces some 40,000 km of wallpaper annually. President and CEO James Patton and Bruce Mitchell together own 52% of the company, which was taken private in late 2010.
