Company Description
White vans keep Northgate in the black. Northgate is one of the largest light commercial vehicle rental businesses (by fleet size) in the UK and Spain. In the UK and Ireland it rents and leases a fleet of roughly 61,000 cars, trucks, and vans through 65 sites. Customers are engaged in construction and support services, and, less so, in government, retail, and utility sectors. Northgate operates in Spain via brands Fualsa and Record, which have a combined 30-plus branches and a fleet of about 49,000 light commercial and other vehicles. It also sells used vehicles and offers fleet management services. The company was founded in 1981 as Nobel Self Drive by Alan Noble, and changed its name to Northgate in 1998.
