Founded in 1978 the company also manufactures and designs other plush toys and accessories for babies and toddlers, as well as the Muffy VanderBear Couture line. NABCO distributes its toys throughout the US, as well as in Europe and Asia. Its products are sold through department stores, specialty toy and gift shops, and catalogs. The company was founded more than 30 years ago by Barbara Isenberg in 1978 with help from her brother Paul Levy, who still serves as the company's CEO in Chicago.
