The company is Norway's largest grocery retailer with some 1,975 stores, about 565 of which are company owned, under more than a dozen banners. It is the country's #1 supermarket operator with stores nationwide under the Meny (large supermarkets), KIWI (discount stores), and SPAR banners. NorgesGruppen also taps other retail markets through the regional supermarket chain Ultra, as well as convenience stores (Fresh, MIX).
