Company Description
Educators at Nord Anglia Education, through its International Schools and Learning Services divisions, teach everything from ABCs to art and design. Nord Anglia owns and operates schools across the UK, as well as several primary and secondary schools for students in Europe and Asia. The company also provides outsourcing to government agencies, local authorities, and other public-sector organizations for a wide range of education and training. The company also renewed its agreement with the Army Foundation College in 2008, one of its largest contracts. Former chairman Kevin McNeany founded the company in 1972, which was acquired by a unit of Baring Asia Private Equity Fund for some $360 million in 2008.
