Company Description
Nisshinbo Holdings (formerly Nisshinbo Industries) has been spinning its textile spell for more than a century, but only a quarter of its sales come from textile products. Its textile group spins, weaves, knits, dyes, and finishes cotton material for bedding, shirts, denim, and polyester-blend fabric used in uniforms. The company also makes spandex under the Nisshinbo Mobilon name. Its non-textile businesses include automobile brakes; papers (eco-friendly tissue and toilet paper, fine printing papers); mechatronics (laser cutting machines, solar module manufacturing equipment); chemicals (resins, elastomers, carbon foams); and electronics (semiconductors, power supplies, medical electronics).
