The more than 1,090 grower/owner-members of the National Grape Cooperative harvest Concord and Niagara grapes from almost 50,000 acres of vineyards. The plucked produce supplies the coop's wholly owned subsidiary Welch Foods. Welch Foods makes and sells fruit-based juices, jams, jellies, and spreads under the Welch's and Bama brands in the US and nearly 50 other countries. Offerings include fresh eating grapes, distributed by C.H. Robinson Worldwide, as well as dried fruit and frozen juice pops. The grape growers own vineyards in Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Washington, and Ontario, Canada, which produce some 300,000 tons of grapes annually.
