The trade group serves as its members' eyes, ears, and, of course, voice before Congress, the courts, and federal regulatory agencies in Washington, DC. NAB priorities have included spectrum management, retransmission consent, political advertising rates, and limiting content regulation. The NAB predates television and goes back to the early days of radio -- the organization was founded in 1923.
