Company Description

Nashua Corporation probably has nightmares about the "paperless office." Founded in 1849 as a playing cards supplier to miners during the California gold rush, Nashua's Coated Products segment coats, converts, prints, and sells thermal coated papers and films for use in package identification systems, gaming and airline ticketing systems, and fax machines. Its Label Products segment makes pressure-sensitive labels for merchants, radio frequency identification (RFID) labels, and retail shelf tags. The company has manufacturing facilities in New Hampshire, California, Nebraska, and Tennessee. In fall 2009 rival Cenveo acquired Nashua for about $49 million in cash, stock, and assumed debt.
