Company Description
Mondi wraps it up and prints it out. A global paper and packaging group, it grows the wood and manufactures the pulp and paper (as well as recycles paper) for its products. Mondi's offerings include packaging paper and a slew of converted packaging products (containerboard and corrugated boxes, as well as kraft paper for industrial and consumer bags, and extrusion coating products for consumer packaging), uncoated fine paper (office and printing paper, sold under MAESTRO and other brand names), and newsprint. Mondi owns about 100 operating sites in some 30 countries. Its strategic interests dot Europe, Russia, and South Africa, where it holds the #1 spot for producing office and kraft paper, and other goods.
