Company Description
A staple of brass bands worldwide for more than 50 years, Miraphone manufactures tubas, euphoniums, flugelhorns, baritones, tenor horns, trombones, and trumpets. The high-end professional horns are used by artists such as Don Little (principal tuba, Dallas Opera Orchestra), Friedrich Loimayr (principal trombone, Bruckner Orchestra Linz), Jaroslav Tachovsky (solo trombone, Czech Philharmonie), and the Miraphone Tuba Quartet. The company was founded in 1946 by instrument repairmen from what was then Northern Czechoslovakia who wanted to do more than repair and restore instruments.
