The Christian-based not-for-profit serves more than 50 developing nations around the world from its ship Africa Mercy, which has six operating rooms and nearly 500 berths, and a land-based clinic in Sierra Leone. The organization also distributes water purification kits, prescription eyeglasses, and prescriptions, and offers a variety of training and education programs for local workers.
