The company produces cosmetic surgery products including Memory Gel breast implants, Prevelle Silk tissue expanders, and facial implants. Additional products include the Byron line of ultrasonic liposuction systems that remove unwanted fat and a line of post-surgery clothing called Caromed. Its Mentor Solutions software helps busy plastic surgeons manage their practices. Mentor's products are sold through its international sales force; it has operations in the US, Europe, and Africa. Founded in 1969, Johnson & Johnson purchased the company in 2009.
