The clinic, part of the larger Mayo Clinic network, offers specialty services including organ transplantation, neurology, and oncology therapy. Most patients treated at the clinic are treated on an outpatient basis; those who require hospitalization are admitted to the adjacent Mayo Clinic Hospital, a 214-bed acute care facility. The Jacksonville campus also includes the Birdsall Medical Research center and the Griffin Cancer Research building.
