It's all in the family at Martin's Super Markets. The regional grocery store chain operates about 20 locations mostly in Indiana but also in southwest Michigan. In addition to catering, film processing, full-service floral departments, and traditional supermarket fare, Martin's offers ready-made meals for busy shoppers, and about a third of its supermarkets have in-store pharmacies. About a third have fuel centers. The company is adding drive-through pharmacies and local delivery service at some of its stores. Founded in 1947 by Jane and Martin Tarnow, the company is still family owned and operated. Rob Bartels Jr. (third generation) became CEO of Martin's Super Markets in early 2005.
