Company Description
Marshall Amplification is the original creator of speakers that can (figuratively) turned up to "11" on their volume dials. One of the world's leading and best-known makers of guitar amplification equipment, Marshall makes amplifiers and accessories for electric and acoustic guitars, as well as other musical instruments and small public-address systems. Products are distributed worldwide through music-equipment retailers. It purchased renowned British percussion firm Natal in March 2010. In 1962 Dr. Jim Marshall opened a music shop selling specialized amplifiers often requested by the era's musicians; over the years the small business evolved into Marshall Amplification. The company is still owned by Marshall.
