Not everyone can get up close and personal with major league ballplayers, but Majestic Athletic gets up close and personal with every single one of them. The company designs and manufactures athletic team uniforms and outerwear and has an exclusive on-field uniform rights license with all 30 Major League Baseball clubs; the company also provides practice jerseys, shorts, and fleecewear to the clubs. Additionally, Majestic Athletic has licensing agreements with such sporting entities as the National Basketball Association, the National Football League, and a number of colleges and universities. The company was acquired by VF Corporation in 2007 and is part of its VF Imagewear division.
