Operating through about 40 branches and Mini Mac retail outlets in the southeastern US, Mac Papers distributes printing paper, envelopes, and labels. Each year the company distributes about 100,000 tons of paper for use in annual reports, catalogs, brochures, and other printed material. Customers include commercial printers, corporate marketing departments, graphic design firms, and tax centers. Founded in 1965 by Tom and Frank McGehee (whose father Clifford started Jacksonville Paper in 1919), Mac Papers is still owned and operated by the McGehee family. Frank McGehee died in 2007.
