MOTO Franchise (formerly Moto Photo) franchises about 60 photo development stores in about 15 US states and the District of Columbia, offering one-hour processing and finishing services such as enlargements, digital reproductions, and photo and video transfer to DVD. Its stores also sell photo-related items such as frames, albums, and digital camera accessories, as well as offer personalization services for mugs, T-shirts, and other gift items. In addition, some locations feature portrait studios. Moto Photo filed for bankruptcy in 2002, but majority shareholder and now CEO Harry Loyle led a group of franchise developers in buying the company out of bankruptcy the next year.
