Company Description

M&G Investment Management is one of the largest fund managers in the UK, with more than £134 billion in assets under management and about 45 fixed-income and equity funds. The firm was founded in 1931 (it introduced Britain's first unit trust that year) and was acquired by insurance giant Prudential plc in 1999. It also offers personal equity plans, Individual Savings Accounts, and investment trusts. Another division, M&G International, is active in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, and Switzerland. M&G Investment Management has a venture with its parent, Prudential M&G, that manages assets for institutional investors.
