Company Description
MAp Airports (formerly Macquarie Airports Management Limited) plots the course to its future in the skies. The firm invests in airports in Australia, Belgium, Italy, and the UK. It owns about 75% of the Sydney Airport, 35% of Brussels Airport, 30% of the Copenhagen Airport, and about 15% of the Birmingham Airport. The company uses "airport specialists" to improve business operations such as the expansion of car parking and the streamlining of the airport check-in process. MAp Airports' ownership structure is comprised of two trusts and a Bermudian mutual fund entity. In September 2009 MAp Airports spun off from Australian investment bank
