As Singapore's #3 cellular operator (after SingTel and StarHub), M1 (formerly MobileOne Ltd.) has more than 1.7 million customers signed up for its mobile voice and data services. (Prepaid and regular subscribers are split about 50-50). M1 offers island-wide broadband service, with Internet services accounting for about 25% of revenues. Services for corporate customers are offered through M1 Connect, which provides e-mail, managed services, data center services, fleet management, sales force automation, and international roaming in more than 230 countries. Major shareholders include Keppel Corporation (20%), SPH Multimedia (14%), and Malaysia's SunShare Investments (30%).
