Company Description

Lone Pine Resources is stands on its own in Canada's oil and gas field. The company went public in 2011 and was spun off from US parent Forest Oil. Lone Pine is the parent of Canadian Forest Oil Ltd., which owns all of Forest's Canadian assets. Operations consist of oil and gas exploration, development, and production in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec, as well as the Northwest Territories. It leases more than 1 million acres of mainly undeveloped land and has estimated proved reserves of about 320 billion cu. ft. equivalent. Key drilling areas include Deep Basin for natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) and Peace River Arch for light oil.
