Company Description

Litton Loan Servicing collects principal and interest payments on prime and subprime residential mortgages, including Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration, and manufactured home loans. Part of mortgage servicing firm Ocwen Financial, the company has a loan portfolio that includes approximately 300,000 mortgages worth around $50 billion. Litton Loan Servicing was founded in 1988 as a subservicer of problem loans in the wake of the Texas real estate bust by Larry Litton Sr. His son, Larry Jr., has since taken over the reins as president and CEO. Ocwen acquired Litton Loan Servicing from Goldman Sachs for around $264 million in 2011.
