Its motor segment manufactures and distributes electric motors and components. A (non-motor) power generation business supplies power through multiple independent power plants. Lindeteves-Jacoberg's subsidiary motor brands include Schorch in Germany, Tamel in Poland, and Western Electric in Australia and New Zealand. In 2009, the company disposed of its 51% interest in Brook Crompton Greaves. Lindeteves-Jacoberg was incorporated in 1947 as part of a Dutch international trading group. The ATB Austria Group owns 67% of the company.
