Lgc Management (dba Burt Automotive) operates about a half a dozen dealerships in Colorado that sell new and used Ford, GM, and Mazda brand vehicles. It also sells commercial trucks and offers financing and parts and repair services. The Colorado company has shuttered several dealerships in recent years as the domestic auto industry faltered and gas prices spiked. Burt, owned by CEO Lloyd G. Chavez, is one of the largest Hispanic-owned businesses in the US. A salesman with Burt since 1950, Chavez became the majority owner in 1982 and bought the rest of the company in 1987.
