More than half of the company's stores are in Nova Scotia, but it also has outlets in three other provinces, including about two dozen stores in Newfoundland. Lawton's stores average 9,000 square feet and carry a full line of over-the-counter and prescription drugs, baby products, gifts and greeting cards, health and beauty items, and a limited selection of general merchandise. In addition to stand-alone stores, Lawton's Drug operates outlets inside its parent company's Sobeys supermarkets.
