It also manufactures, sells, and distributes specialized component and production parts to OEMs in the automotive, appliance, aerospace, construction, oil and gas, and transportation markets. Sales are mainly generated in the US via some 1,100 independent sales agents, and its website and catalogs. In 2010 Lawson sold subsidiary Rutland Tool & Supply to MSC Industrial, and Assembly Component Systems to Supply Technologies (part of Park-Ohio).
