Known for LAND O' LAKES butter (the #1 butter brand in the US), Land O'Lakes markets a slew of dairy-based consumer, foodservice, and food ingredient products. It is owned by about 4,460 dairy farmer/members and some 945 member associations, and ranks as one of the largest dairy co-ops in the US. All told, the co-op makes more than 300 dairy products from the 12.9 billion pounds of milk, members supply annually. Land O'Lakes produces animal feed through Land O'Lakes Purina Feed, and eggs through MoArk. The co-op also offers members crop protection products, seed, animal feed, and agricultural assistance. It operates dairy facilities in the US, but does business in all 50 states and some 60 countries.
