Company Description
Ladbrokes will take that bet -- on anything from sports to politics to unique speculations. Ladbrokes makes odds online, over the phone, and at its more than 2,700 retail betting shops in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and Spain. The company's websites offer a variety of gaming products (such as poker and bingo), as well as betting operations on a host of international sporting events, and boasts more than 800,000 customers. Betting is available via about a dozen localized websites in nine different languages that support more than 15 currencies. Ladbrokes origins date back to 1886, when racehorse trainer Arthur Bendir set up a partnership in the English village of Ladbroke to take bets on horse races.
