LDV gives the working man's van a hand. The company custom builds commercial vans and other trucks. Its vehicles are not limited to hauling the tools of handymen; LDV builds homeland security mobile command centers, mobile sales stores, and SWAT trucks. Customers range from police (crime scene investigation) to fire departments, hazardous materials agencies, libraries (bookmobiles), healthcare centers (blood donation), and tool vendors (Snap-on) throughout North America. LDV offers vehicle upgrades, and aftermarket service and support, as well as graphics and signage for truck interiors and exteriors. Founded in 1977, the company has grown from a single dealership service bay to 32 bays in multiple facilities.
