Company Description
LA84 Foundation is dedicated to making sure Southern California youth have a chance to bring their game. The foundation grants money to youth sports organizations in eight Southern California counties, operates sports programs, and manages the Paul Ziffren Sports Resource Center, a leading sports research library and learning center. LA84 also owns a vast collection of sports art and artifacts that comprises printed art, paintings, and sculptures. The group has pledged more than $185 million in grants since 1985. Its endowment was established with proceeds from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. To reflect its Olympic origin, it changed its name from The Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles in mid-2007.
