The Canadian company is a leading North American polishing and plating facility that puts the finish on steel and aluminum wheels, bumpers, and other auto and body parts. Customers include OEMs of automotive components such as General Motors , Toyota , and Honda . In a partnership with Harley-Davidson and Leggett & Platt , Kuntz Electroplating provides cosmetic nickel chrome plating on the American motorcycle maker's engines. Kuntz Electroplating was founded in 1948 by Oscar Kuntz. In 1989 the company acquired a sister business, Formulated Coatings of Brampton, which operates a cathodic e-coating facility.
