Kenet develops analog and mixed-signal (analog plus digital) semiconductors designed for use in portable communications devices. The development-stage company touts its FemtoCharge products as offering improved power consumption and a smaller footprint than existing devices that carry out the same functions. Kenet's semiconductors grew out of research at MIT 's Lincoln Laboratory. Established in 2002 the company opened a design center in Austin, Texas in 2007.
