Its wood preservatives are pentachlorophenol (penta), sodium penta, and creosote. KMG sells penta and creosote in the US, primarily to the railroad, construction, and utility industries. Sodium penta is sold in Latin America. The company makes herbicides used to protect cotton from weeds (Bueno) and to kill weeds along highways (Ansar), and its Rabon and Ravap pesticide lines keep pests from livestock and poultry.
