Company Description
Between the warmth of the sun and hum of the power line, there's JinkoSolar. The company produces all the components to convert sunlight to electricity. It manufactures silicon wafers and uses them to make solar cells, which connect to form solar modules, the basis for solar power generation. Customers can buy any or all of the three components. JinkoSolar uses virgin and reclaimed silicon (about 50/50); it sources recovered material from outside suppliers and sells what it doesn't use. The Chinese company has about 450 customers in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
