Its primary subsidiary is Neptune Marine Oil & Gas, which owns and operates deep sea oil rigs on contract basis. ECI Corporation makes precast and reinforcement concrete products and other building materials, while JIL Limited holds investments. The group is active in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Formerly named Econ International, the company was once the second-largest construction firm in Singapore before it fell into debt of more than $250 million. It reorganized as Jasper Investments in 2006.
