J Sainsbury's trolly is getting back on track. The UK's third-largest grocery seller (after Tesco and ASDA) runs the long-struggling Sainsbury's Supermarkets chain of some 500 grocery stores throughout the UK. The supermarkets get about 50% of their sales from private-label products. The company's fast-growing Sainsbury's Online division operates in about 150 supermarkets and covers more than 85% of the UK population. In addition to supermarkets, the firm operates about 290 convenience stores under the Sainsbury's Local, Bells, and Jacksons banners. About 245 of the shops sell gas.
