Company Description

JT International (JTI) fills its coffers on the backs of Camels. The company is the global unit of Japan Tobacco, the world's #3 tobacco company, after Altria (Marlboro among others) and British American Tobacco. It sells some 90 cigarette brands, including flagship Camel, Winston (the #2 selling cigarette in the world), Salem, and Mild Seven (the world's top-selling charcoal filter cigarette). Other brands include Ducat, Magna, Monte Carlo, Benson & Hedges, and Silk Cut. JTI also makes and sells Hamlet brand cigars, Old Holdborn and Amber Leaf roll-your-own tobacco, and Gustav Snus Swedish-style smokeless tobacco products. Established in 1999, it sells its products in more than 120.
