Itella (formerly Finland Post) still delivers the mail in Finland, but much has changed since the company first undertook that task more than 300 years ago. Besides mail delivery, which accounts for just over half of the company's sales, Itella provides logistics (supply chain management and freight forwarding) and information logistics (database management and direct mail) services. It operates primarily in Finland, but also in eight other Northern European countries. The Posti brand familiar to Finns is still used for the company's domestic mail service.
