Individual Restaurant Company (IRC), formerly Bank Restaurant Group, operates more than 30 mostly upscale restaurants throughout the UK (Bank Aldwych and Bank Westminster are in London). IRC operates the Piccolino chain of about 20 Italian bistros and several UK locations of The Restaurant Bar & Grill. Most of the company's restaurants feature full bars, private dining areas, and catering services. IRC also owns upscale Manchester dining spot Zinc Bar & Grill, which it acquired in 2005 from famed modern-furnishings designer (and restaurateur) Terence Conran.
