Company Description

Icelandic Group sources and sells frozen fish and shrimp to wholesalers and retailers in the US, Europe, and Asia. The Group offers unprocessed fresh fish, but most of its sales are generated through value-added, processed products under its own label and sold via such retailers as Tesco and Marks & Spencer. In the UK Icelandic Group owns Coldwater Seafood (frozen seafood) and Seachill. In the US, the Group operates a seafood-processing plant and the shellfish exporter, Ocean to Ocean. Icelandic Group is owned by Vestia Holdings, a subsidiary of Icelandic Bank NBI hf. Following a change in management, Icelandic Group is selling its businesses in Germany and France to a group of investors, led by Pacific Andes.
