Company Description

INEOS Styrenics (formerly INEOS NOVA International), owned by diversified chemicals giant INEOS, ranks among the world's largest manufacturers of styrene and styrenic polymers. Its primary products are polystyrene (used as packaging material and in household appliances and equipment housings), expandable polystyrene (used as building insulation and in packaging containers), and styrene monomer (used as a raw material for the production of other styrenics). The company has 11 manufacturing sites in six countries, and does about $2 billion in business per year. IENOS acquired NOVA Chemical's half of the INEOS NOVA joint venture in 2010 and renamed the company INEOS Styrenics.
