Company Description
I.I.S. Intelligent Information Systems (IIS) decided the smart course of action was a new line of business. In an attempt to overcome years of losses, the company restructured its operations with a string of divestitures. IIS sold its interests in networking equipment maker NetWiz, data storage specialist Decision Data, and systems integrator Adanet Communications. The company also divested stakes in StoreAge Network Technologies and Enargis Storage Solutions. IIS announced plans to merge with Witech, a developer of wireless video transmission technology, in 2007; the deal closed early in 2008. IIS, operating through Witech's CDRIDE subsidiary, now provides on-ride video systems for amusement parks.
